From NYC, NJ, and Points South - Take the NY State Thruway (I-87) North to exit 24 to Northway (Rte. I-87) continue North to exit 30. Follow Rte. 9 North for 2 miles to Rte. 73 and continue 28 miles to Lake Placid/Whiteface Mountain area.
From Boston, Springfield, Hartford - Take I-90 West (MA Turnpike) to Albany, then I-787 to Cohoes. Connect with Rte. 7 West and then take I-87 North. Follow I-87 (Northway) to exit 30, and follow directions above.
From Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Points West - Take I-90 (NY State Thruway) to Syracuse I-81, Exit 36. Follow I-81 North to Watertown, the East on Rte. 3 to Saranac Lake. Take Rte. 86 East to Lake Placid.
